Sanya Grigoriev has dreamt of becoming a polar explorer for many years. And when his dream has finally come true, he is able to devote himself for searching a missing expedition of captain Tatarinov. Letters written by the members of this missing expedition got to him by accident several years ago. After numerous twists and turns of life, he finds himself on the front. And his aircraft which was shot down gets to the place of Tatarinov’s last stop. Now Sanya is able to prove his point of view about what happened in the expedition.
