In search of a better life, Marcela and her adventurous husband Nelson moved from Bolivia to Madrid. Nelson’s “astute business” is collecting flowers that preserved some freshness from the dump and reselling them. Family’s financial situation is very precarious, especially as Marcela becomes pregnant. A woman finds a lucrative part-time job – to be a nurse of a sick old man by the name Amador. A special bond and understanding develops between them. And when Amador dies, Marcela finds a way to keep the work she still needs and good memories of Amador.
