Herman Baklanov is a genius designer and constructor. But his boss doesn’t give freedom to him. His only chance is to turn to the bureau’s direction and take a personal project for himself. He gets an approval for designing a new model of tractor on a competitive basis. But on the way to success, there is the second creative group under the rule of the character’s best friend.
