Buzz Lightyear is a brave space ranger from the Gamma Quadrant of Sector 4. A division of the Universe Security Forces. Buzz Lightyear was named after Apollo 11, an astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, the second moonwalker.
His primary mission was to guard the galaxy against the threat of invasion by the evil Emperor Zurg, an ancient enemy of the Galactic Alliance. However, upon arriving on Earth in the company of Woody and the other toys, he realized that other villains are on Earth too. Now the hero has to defeat them along with his friends. Buzz is always ready to come to the aid of others and is not afraid of desperate adventures. He is a born leader, able to boost the morale of the team and act decisively in case of danger.
