Alien

Alien or Xenomorph XX121 is an alien organism, a versatile cross-species parasite that combines features of different insect and animal species. There are three versions of the origin of Xenomorph. According to the first, it is a natural species that evolved naturally on another planet. The second says that the Alien was created by the Mala'kaks civilization as a living weapon. The third version, however, states that the Xenomorph was developed from a natural species by the Space Jockeys and used as a weapon of mass destruction.

The Alien's organism is superbly constructed. It is strong and cunning. In one of its developmental stages, the creature is able to hibernate for an undetermined length of time and wait out any adverse conditions. Reproducing their own species is the sole purpose for which the Alien can exploit any life-forms that breathe. The Xenomorph first appeared on screen in 1979 in the film "Alien" directed by Ridley Scott.
