Yondu Udonta is a blue-skinned Marvel Comics superhero and one of the founders of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Yondu Udonta was born on the planet Centauri IV, home to the primitive Zatoan tribe. But as a child, his parents sold him to the Kree Empire, where he became a slave and lived in a cage. Twenty years later, he was found by Stakar Ogord and offered to join the Ravagers. Soon Yondu became the leader of one of the hundred clans of the bandit group. Trying to establish himself as the leader, Udonta makes a deal with Ego. He promises to deliver Ego's child, Peter Quill, to his father. But kidnapping children is despised by the Ravagers, so Yondu is cast out of the clan. After that, Yondu creates his own team of Ravagers, which does not obey the rules and regulations. For reasons unknown, Yondu fails to deliver the child to the customer, and Peter remains aboard the villain's spaceship, becoming Yondu's adopted son. For almost 20 years, the hero travels the galaxy, runs his own unit, and raises the teenager. Soon Yondu sends his foster son on his first solo quest to find the Sphere of Life. But Peter deceives Yondu and tries to sell the artifact on his own. So Yondu loses authority in his team, and only by teaming up with his enemies does he get his power back. By entering a trance, Yondu is able to replenish his own inner power. As an apprentice hunter, Yondu is an expert at using Yaka Arrows, which change the direction of flight from his master's whistle.
