The WWFC 23 World League tournament will take place at the Meridian Sports Complex in Kyiv, featuring Ukrainian and international fighters competing in twelve bouts to crown the best. In addition to the sports spectacle, organizers will host a charity auction with items from Oleksandr Usyk and the Ukrainian national football team. In the 61.2 kg division, national MMA champion Serhiy Zaichenko, representing Kharkiv’s Fighters Team, will face Azerbaijani Ruslan Mammadov, a national champion in wushu sanda (a Chinese martial art).

The WWFC 23 tournament will be streamed live on MEGOGO on November 23, 2024. In the 56.7 kg division, a match will pit Ukrainian MMA Cup winner Maksym Mytsko (Pustomyty, Lviv region) against European Championship silver medalist Nikita Zelinskyi (Zhytomyr). Another fight in this category will feature Timur Kiragosyants from Poltava, a European Championship bronze medalist, against Roman Bandryvchak from Lviv, who earned a similar medal in the Ukrainian Championship.

In the 65.8 kg weight class, amateur fighters Yuriy Kulyk (Dnipro) and Maksym Pyhura (Lviv), both veterans of World Warriors Fighting Championship events, will go head-to-head. The evening’s main event will see one of two undefeated streaks come to an end as Danylo Syroshtan (Poltava) faces Gheorghe Balaur (Moldova). The Ukrainian standout previously triumphed in the continental combat sambo championship, while the Moldovan fighter won gold in the European all-style combat championship and secured a first-round technical knockout in his last WWFC appearance.
