The hosts suffered home defeats against Aston Villa (0-3), Inter Milan (0-1), and Atalanta (1-6). Despite these three losses, the capital team managed to take 42 shots on goal in those matches. In their last seven home Champions League matches, the Bees have kept a clean sheet only against their upcoming opponent. Since 2020, Young Boys have recorded only one home draw in UEFA competitions – a 3-3 tie against Atalanta in the 2021/22 season.
