In Mukachevo (Zakarpattia Oblast), the local sports and recreation complex DYUSSH will host the qualifying tournament for the European Championship - the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling U-23 Championship. The European Championship is scheduled for early March and will take place in Tirana, Albania. The tournament will feature 130 athletes born between 2002 and 2007 and 18 teams representing 16 regions of Ukraine. The podium places will be determined across ten weight categories (55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97, and 130 kg).

In the 55 kg division, competitors include Daniil Koreev, Yehor Odnovol, Ivan Stefanskyi, Viktor Krandakov, Bohdan Riznychenko, Nazarii Babynskyi, and Tykhon Yavyts. The 60 kg category at DYUSSH will feature Bohdan Hryshyn, Yevhen Pokovba, Maksut Sultanov, Mykola Havrychkin, and Volodymyr Karpeichyk. In the 63 kg section, fans will see Vsevolod Sapun, Vladyslav Levchuk, Vasyl Mishanych, Artur Herbich, Artem Lysko, Marko Voloshyn, Damir Levchenko, Vladyslav Komnatskyi, Oleksandr Shevchuk, and Artem Zavoloka.

Twenty athletes will compete for podium positions in the 67 kg division, with 14 wrestlers in the 72 kg category. The 77 kg section will feature 19 participants, while the 82 kg and 130 kg divisions will have 17 competitors each. Another 12 talents will battle for the top spots in the 87 kg weight class. In the 97 kg division, participants include Yehor Yakushenko, Tykhon Shafranskyi, Vladyslav Draghanchuk, Vladyslav Lub, Yemin Isaev, Artem Osovskyi, Kyrylo Shcherbatiuk, Dmytro Prykhodko, Andrii Chernenko, and Sviatoslav Valuiev.
