In the second round of the Ukrainian Championship, Zorya will face Kudrivka at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium in Kyiv. The teams will meet in an official match for the first time. Back in March, they played a friendly, in which the current Premier League debutant secured a 1-0 victory on Polissia’s field in the village of Dobrianka, Chernihiv region. The Luhansk club began the new Premier League season with a goalless draw against LNZ at the aforementioned Kyiv venue, 0-0. In the opening round, Vasyl Baranov’s side stunned Oleksandriya at Obolon Arena, 3-1. Andrii Storchous scored a brace in his debut match in the top flight. Former Veres defender Yevhen Morozko also netted a goal and provided an assist.

The Black-and-Whites have recorded only one victory in their last six Premier League matches — a 3-1 win over Karpaty in Lviv. During this stretch, the Luhansk side failed to score in four games.
