In the first round of the main stage of the Champions League at Fortuna Arena in Prague, the match Slavia — Bodø/Glimt will take place. The hosts qualified directly for the main stage, since they won the championship of an association that is part of the top 10 of the relevant ranking this season. The Norwegian team started in the final round of qualification, where the draw matched them with Austria’s Sturm. After the home game, the club from Nordland county practically secured their spot in the next stage with a 5-0 victory.

Since then, the club from the Eliteserien has played nine away matches in qualification, achieving only two victories and keeping a clean sheet only once — against Jagiellonia in Białystok, 1-0. Their only encounter with Czech clubs in European competitions took place in the summer of 2023. Then the Norwegian side, in the 1/4 final of the Conference League qualifiers, eliminated another Prague team — Bohemians 1905 (3-0, 4-2).
