The draw for the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League group stage will take place in Brussels. Fans will be the first to learn the group composition across all four divisions of the tournament. For the national teams, this is an important starting point, as the allocation into quartets sets the schedule and competitive objectives for the entire cycle.

A total of 54 national associations will take part in the tournament, distributed across four leagues. In Leagues A, B, and C, four groups of four participants will be formed, and each national team will play six group-stage matches. In League D, there will be two groups of three teams, where participants will play four matches each.

In League A, sixteen national teams are divided into four pots. The first pot includes Portugal, Spain, France, and Germany. The second features Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Croatia. The third contains Serbia, Belgium, England, and Norway. The fourth pot is made up of Wales, the Czech Republic, Greece, and Turkey.

Ukraine is in the second pot of League B along with Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Austria, so it will not face these teams during the group stage. Draw restrictions apply: Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be placed in the same group as Kosovo, and considerations are also given to long-distance travel and winter venue conditions. The League A quarterfinals and the promotion/relegation playoffs are scheduled for March 25–30, 2027, while the final tournament will take place on June 9–13, 2027.
