From February 18 to 22, a prestigious cycling race is taking place on the roads of Spain. The Ruta del Sol, also known as the Vuelta a Andalucía, is celebrating its 72nd edition. The route consists of 5 stages with a total length of over 800 kilometers. Cyclists tackle challenging mountain sections and picturesque plains of the southern region. Professional WorldTour teams are participating in the competition. The winner is determined by the lowest cumulative time. The race serves as an important preparation stage for the season's Grand Tours.
