An international friendly match between Moldova and Bulgaria will take place at Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău. Bulgaria finished its World Cup qualification campaign in last place in Group E, recording only one victory in six matches. Previously, the Bulgarians had participated in seven FIFA World Cups, but their last appearance was in 1998. In its last five matches, the team has recorded three victories and two defeats. The current trip to Chișinău will be the visitors’ second match during the June international break, as at the beginning of the month they suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat against Montenegro.
