An international friendly match between Hungary and Finland will take place at Puskás Aréna in Budapest. The head-to-head history between these opponents includes nineteen matches: the Hungarian side has claimed twelve victories, the Finns have celebrated success four times, and another three games have ended in draws. The teams last faced each other in 2018 in the UEFA Nations League, when the national squads exchanged home victories. Hungary once again missed out on qualification for the FIFA World Cup, a tournament it has failed to reach for forty years.
