In the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, Scotland will face Morocco at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. Morocco first competed at this level in 1970, and the current tournament has become the team’s seventh FIFA World Cup appearance. The reigning Africa Cup of Nations champion moved through qualification without visible problems, winning all eight matches with a combined score of 22-2. The leaders of the attacking play during qualification were forward Ayoub El Kaabi, who scored four goals, and midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, who found the net twice and provided two assists.
