OPAP Arena in Athens will host the first-round match of the Champions League league phase: AEK — LASK. The Austrian club will rely on strict tactical discipline, a compact defense, and rapid counterattacks. Both teams are determined to make a strong start to their campaign in the revamped format of Europe’s premier club competition.

AEK, under Marco Nikolić, begins its campaign in the league phase as the reigning Greek Super League champion. The team is highly motivated to prove itself at the highest level. For the hosts, it will be crucial to demonstrate high intensity, establish control in midfield, and methodically unsettle the opponent’s defensive structure.
