The Olympic champion Alexander Cirrus debuted on the professional ring. A 29-year-old Mexican Felipe Romero (07/01/16, 11 KOs) confronted him, having two wins in the asset over former WBO world champion Julio Cesar Gonzalez. In addition, Romero defeated the former two-time world title challenger Saul Montana and spoiled the track records of several previously undefeated fighters. Over the past year and a half, Felipe went three times in the ring against the representatives of the top 15 world rankings in the first heavyweight and heavyweight scales, but the Mexican lost these fights.
