Once Alex had to leave his homeland. After experiencing many hardships and losses in a foreign land he finally returns back home. However, his family has disowned him long ago and fear that because of him their precarious peace will be destroyed. Desperate, Alex goes to another city. On the way, he shares all his misadventures with occasional fellow travelers.
