The film "Bread Guillotine" was created for the 75-th anniversary of the Great Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. The documentary material reveals the causes, course and extent of this terrible phenomenon of the modern history. The title of the film displays a formula invented by Vladimir Lenin - the terror by famine, which allowed the Bolsheviks to keep people in total submission for seven decades. This formula led to the tragic social and humanitarian catastrophe (and not only in Ukraine). Its consequences are not overcome, even today.
