A hairdresser Gina Norris moves from Chicago to Atlanta so her daughter would be able to study at the prestigious music school. There Gina gets a job in a luxury beauty salon, where she amazes everyone with her extraordinary skill. But when her egotistical boss begins to ascribe her achievement to himself, she leaves him with a pretty co-worker and decides to open her own barbershop. As a result, Gina buys a rundown institution and receives in addition stubborn and headstrong hairdressers, colorful and whimsical clientele, as well as incredibly sexy electrician, who plays the piano. To realize her dream, Gina will have to go the hard way, but nothing can break her.
