Ten years have passed since filming the movie "Poperechnaya Street". Now we're back to the small street on the outskirts of Riga. It is difficult to say whether this is a duty or a nostalgia that was calling us back. Most likely, both. Daiga, Aldis, Osis... They are all ours. The first film affected the lives of both the authors and the residents of the Poperechnaya Street. We have found friends with whom we want to meet again and again. Over the years, society has become richer by several coexisting value systems. And people in them often live in different worlds that never meet. It seemed to us that the world in which ours live is becoming more and more forgotten. That's why we wanted to show that tremors happen in it too, and that Poperechnaya Street is like the palm of Latvia, on which any fortuneteller can see the fate line. Transverse surveyors crossed the Poperechnaya Street. The land was divided and re-divided, but surveyors of course cannot measure a bigger part of peace of mind to someone. That's why the lines they put in ​​plans of land cause some one the wounds that only time can heal. Not only ownership and consistency of neighbors changed, even relationships within families are different. This is neither good nor bad, it's just the reality, as the wheel of history continues its never-ending journey and potholes the Poperechnaya Street.
