The movie events take place in Romania in the late 80s of the last century. The communist regime is close to collapse, but the harsh laws of a totalitarian state still exist. For example, abortion is punishable as a felony. The main character is a student who is trying to get rid of an unwanted child, and a friend helps her in finding a suitable doctor. But the challenges that girls will have to go through in order to fulfill their plans will be very difficult.
