Based on true events films tells the story of two great Italian actors, Osvaldo Valenti and Luisa Ferida, whose bodies were found soon after the end of the World War II. Valenti and Ferida met in Rome, when he was already famous and she was still trying to get on the big screen. At first, Valenti paid no attention to the young actress, who was hoping for his support. Only after Ferida became famous thanks to Golfiero did Valenti find her and twist his fortune with her. As the Germans split Italy in two, Valenti and Ferida went to the North to the fascist republic of Salo. They loved each other, art and cocaine, and that love lasted till one day guerrillas deprived them of their lives.
