This is the fourth fight for Oleksandr Usyk in the professional ring. In September 2013 Oleksandr made a decision to go professional. After extended talks with international promoters Oleksandr signed a contract with Klitschko brothers’ K2 Promotions. In his debut fight in the professional ring in November 2013, the Ukrainian heavyweight knocked out Felipe Romero in the fifth round. Usyk battled his next opponent Epifanio Mendoza easily. His latest appearance on the ring was on the undercard of Wladimir Klitschko – Alex Lepai. The Ukrainian boxer won a convincing victory over Ben Nsafoah in the third round.

The current Usyk’s rival is Argentine Cesar David Crenz, nicknamed ‘El Ruso’, within his career has met many eminent boxers, such as Pawel Kolodziej, Hugo Hernan Garay, Yan Pablo Hernandez, Rudolf Kraj. 34-year-old Crenz took 29 fights in the professional ring, including 21 wins with 13 knockouts. He lives and trains in Argentina.

He has visited Ukraine in June 2012 to battle against Dmytro Kucher in the fight for the WBC International Silver title. Cesar won his most resounding victory in his career in 2011, knocking out the former champion Hugo Garay. His latest fight was against Youri Kayembre Kalenga in February 2014. Cesar David Crenz won the heavyweight title in Argentina several times.
