Lewis is growing up without parents and longs to find his family. Fortunately, Lewis has irrepressible imagination and amazing abilities to invent various fantastic devices. From different parts that came to hand he creates a device for developing memories, to see at least the face of his mother, who threw him in an orphanage when he was a baby. But at a school fair, where Lewis will present his memory scanner in action, something incredible happens. Lewis first met his coeval Wilber, who says he has arrived from the future being an employee of "Services of Time Control". And then another alien, a sinister man in a black bowler hat, steals Lewis' invention and creates a real mess at the exhibition. To catch the cheater and return everything back in place, the guys go into the future, where Lewis will have lots of exciting adventures. He will ride in a time machine, make friends with the robot Carl, take part in a battle with the watchdog dinosaur, save the world from machinations of the villain and his pot, and most importantly - get acquainted with a large, friendly and eccentric little family of Robinsons, and find his long-awaited relatives in them.
