Having returned from France in order to ascend to the Scottish throne, Mary Stuart tried to stop the bloody religious infighting. The defeated Queen is securing her only son Jacob, and gets in prison. But then, in exchange for Jacob's agreement to his mother's death, the Queen of England Elizabeth made him her heir. Jacob's ruling was noted with crackdown on Catholics and insatiable greed. Unable to endure endless humiliations the group of Catholics organized a conspiracy targeting the explosion of Parliament with the king.
