Each year, all birds fly south. Our young hero Yellowbird's pack has to fly too, but at the last moment before the flight an evil cat attacks the pack leader Darius. Only Darius knows the way to the south, and he manages to convey the secret to Yellowbird, who now has to become leader of the pack. Yellowbird has no experience of such long-haul flights, and, moreover, the experience of leadership in the pack, but he has nothing to do but be a fast learner.
