The film is set in a small provincial town in the north. Gesha Cheremysh, a schoolboy pretends to be a brother of a legendary pilot Klementiy Cheremish. But his lies expose when the pilot comes in their town. The boy becomes too worried and even decides to run away from the orphanage, but eventually he decides to confess to lying.
