Megan Hunt M.D. was a leading neurosurgeon until she lost her medical license after an accident. As she wasn’t able to help people anymore she became a forensic scientist. Despite being perfect at her new job, the reputation of a “complex person” follows her everywhere. Her boss tries to protect her, but Megan steps on his toes too often. Although he acknowledges her medical abilities, her colleague and an experienced detective Bud Morris is not found of her methods. Fortunatelly, Megan has a few people on her side. Younger forensic experts rely on her experience, and her partner, a medical investigator Pete Dunlop, perceives her strange behaviour normally. Maybe because he is the only one who knows that Megan’s complex nature partially caused by guilt. Before leaving neurosurgery, she accidentally killed her patient. Moreover, she has recently divorced and her teenage daughter remained under the care of the father. Megan Hunt is irreplaceable at work, but her personal life is far from perfect.
