Twenty-five years ago the people of Woodsboro were shocked by the brutal murders. In the aftermath, several slasher films were released that became cult films based on the events of that time. Soon a high school student, Tara, becomes the victim of an attack from the script of one of these films. In view of what is happening, her older sister Sam returns home to find the new killer.
