"Know Your Ukraine Well" is an integrated online course for children about Ukrainian folk holidays from the Ivan Honchar Museum and the EdEra online education studio. We overcome stereotypes about Ukrainian traditions and introduce children to the historical context and symbolism of Christmas, Easter, Kupala, and Pokrova in a way that is interesting for them. Supplemented by the open world of Minecraft, the course features video lectures and master classes with Yevhen Klopotenko, Alina Pash, and others.
The online course materials will also be useful for teachers of formal and non-formal education institutions, art school teachers, parents, and anyone interested in learning about folk traditions.
The course was developed by the EdEra online education studio in partnership with the Kolo Charity Foundation and the Ivan Honchar Museum, a national center of folk culture. The project was supported by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Spilnokosht, and Winner Group Ukraine.
