Ukrainian art has absorbed national roots, spiritual diversity, depth, and mentality and has been formed over many centuries. Despite the different styles, different worldviews, and different approaches to creating art, it has common features and a common mentality. Representatives of Ukrainian art often tended to philosophical interpretations of images or ideas.

The lecture will be about:
-famous representatives of Ukrainian art of the 20th century
-the fragility of art at the intersection of systems and epochs
-the concept of the artistic Galápagos syndrome in Ukraine;
