At the beginning of the nineteenth century in Tashkent, there was a fierce confrontation between feudal lords who sought to seize power by any means. The movie shows the atmosphere of violence against human freedom and the prevalence of traditions in the family. The latter makes the lovers Otabek and Kumush suffer.
