The action takes place in Odessa in 1918-1919. Opponents of the revolution enlist the support of the Entente military forces to eliminate revolutionaries. The storyline focuses on the Frenchwoman Jeanne-Marie Labourb who had lived in Russia for a long time and considered it her second homeland. Jeanne-Marie gave her life for French forces not getting involved in the suppression of the revolution.
