The film about the events that shaped the life of the great Spanish artist, a native of the island of Crete, the Greek-born Domenikos Theotokopoulos, known as “The Greek”. After moving to Italy, he went to study at the studio of Titan. The young master formed his own style of painting and vision of his place in art. Looking at Michelangelo’s works he said: “Apparently, it was a good man who could not paint”. He moved to Toledo and began working for Spanish King Philip II, whom he served until his death. There he was named as the Artist of God.
