«Fall on Pluto» is a documentary theatrical project by Lviv director Sashko Brama.
It is based on the personal stories of elderly residents of the Lviv Geriatric Boarding House, who become the voices of the performance.
The title has a symbolic meaning.
Pluto is the most distant celestial body in the Solar System, embodying alienation and loneliness.
Likewise, the boarding house on the outskirts of the city becomes a space of solitude.
Autumn is a time of nature’s fading and at the same time a harvest, an image of old age — quiet, fragile, but full of meaning.
The combination of these symbols creates a poetic framework in which personal confessions are transformed into a stage story about dignity, memory, and life in its most subtle dimensions.
The premiere took place in 2017 at the Lesya Ukrainka Lviv Academic Drama Theatre.
