«Stateless Person» — a documentary about a man who lived in Ukraine without any documents for over 30 years. The film was created by Babylon'13 in collaboration with the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation.

The film is based on the true story of Andrii Lee, whom no country in the world recognizes as its citizen. The inability to work, study, receive medical care, or even prove his own existence — all of this became his daily reality.

The film tells the story of Andrii's journey from numerous rejections to the struggle for the right to be seen, heard, and recognized. At the same time, it portrays the reality of people facing statelessness in Ukraine, as such stories are not isolated cases. According to research by the Right to Protection CF, at least 236,000 people in Ukraine are at risk of statelessness and face situations similar to the film's protagonist. Due to the war, this number may be even higher.

This film is an attempt to show what such people face in Ukraine and what it is like to be invisible to the state and society.
