In 1974, a mass murder took place in a large house in Amityville. A year later, George and Kathy Lutz move into the mansion with their three children. They hope to start a new life but soon encounter inexplicable phenomena. George's behavior becomes frightening and aggressive. The family realizes that an ancient evil lurks within the walls of the building. The heroes must fight for survival and attempt to leave the cursed place before the house consumes their souls.
