Lulu suffers from schizophrenia and, after 16 years, seeks out Ben, her college sweetheart. She wants to find their son, whom she once gave up for adoption. Lulu's reappearance shocks Ben and causes deep concern for his new wife. The search for the child turns into a dangerous confrontation as old secrets threaten to destroy the lives of everyone involved.
