In the forest belt a body of a young woman is found. It cannot be identified, as the face and one of her arms are disfigured with acid. Two passports next to her don’t clarify the situation either. Three former classmates - investigator Michail, banker Maxim and businessman Vyacheslav – are close friends. Vyacheslav invites Michail and Max for their wedding, where he introduces them to his young wife Julia. Michail suddenly recognizes the semblance between his friend’s wife and a passport photo of the dead girl. Julia admits that she has a dissipated twin sister, Uliana, she is ashamed of, and, apparently, she is the one who has been found dead in the woods. However, the fingerprinting of the dead girl shows that Uliana is not the victim of the crime. The investigation continues, because hardly anyone in this story has a crystal conscience.
