A lonely sycamore-flower grows on a high rock. It grew up in the place where the girl named Aisulu fell down, not wanting to marry an unloved one. This legend was told by Karpov, the secretary of the regional committee, to two unhappy men, who were in love with one girl, when all three, by the will of fate, whiling away a snowy night by the fire in a cave in the mountains, by that very rock.
