A dashing tractor driver Matvey Morozov returns to a native village from a prison. Larisa became extremely jealous and decided to exterminate the rival. And moreover, grandmother Alevtina, a local gossip-teller and a moonshiner, added fuel to the fire and told new information about Matvey and Tonya.
