Having lived to the age of fifty, Carol never managed to accomplish her most cherished dream. But everything changes. Divorce from her husband and dismissal from work encourage a woman to start a doctor's career. Carol becomes an intern and uses all his life experience in the new field of activity — even though the other interns are almost twice as young as the heroine.
