It is a movie about a picturesque everyday life of a Daurian Cossack village, which got to a fateful crossroads between the Civil War and the foundation of the Soviet power in Baikal. Everything that has been founded and established for centuries becomes broken to the core, and then the ones who were no one became everyone. A new world was being built, and ruined destinies of people didn’t concern a lot. The main thing is not to keep the saber sharp.
