Based on A. Tolstoy’s fantastic novel “The Hyperboloid of Engineer Garin”. In the ends of the 1920s, a dead body looking like Engineer Garin is found in Petrograd on a Crest island. But Garin himself managed to use a genius invention of Mantsev, a scientist, and constructed a device which had a destructive power. A dangerous hunt for this device begins. Faking his death, he emigrates from Russia and is trying to enter into contacts with Rolling, the head of one of the European financial concerns under the guise of a French businessman. Garin’s ultimate aim is the power over the world.
