The story is based on the poem by N.A.Nekrasov. The old man Mazzai lives in the province which he loves very much. He is emotional over it and its inhabitants. But most of all he is sorry for the rabbits which are caught in the snare. Mazzai is sincerely trying to help those who suffered from misfortune.
