Many years ago, Sheriff Reed neutralized maniac nicknamed Ricker. A series of murders in the desert and corpses collecting in the ruined barn were stopped. The serial killer was executed by electric chair. On his last day, aging Reed, along with his successor Harris, faced with a failed robbery and an explosion at a gas station. Walking on the trail of criminals, the police realize that they have to fight with a seemingly long-forgotten nightmare of these places.
