The year 2022 marks the twenty-eighth season of the Speedway Grand Prix. The championship has twelve stages in nine different countries. The reigning champion is Artem Laguta, but he was not allowed to participate in the new season. The fifth stage of the championship takes place at the Edward Jancarz Stadium in Gorzów.
