Oscar Valdez debuted in the professional ring nine months later. He has 32 victories in 34 fights. The Nogales-born boxer first tasted defeat in 2022, losing his WBC junior lightweight title to Shakur Stevenson. His second career loss came at the hands of the Cowboy in their head-to-head matchup.
